Gonorrheal ophth neonatorum prevention-
Neonate: 2 drops 1% solution in lower conjunctival sac of each eye so that solution contacts entire conjunctival sac = 30 sec.
Treatment wounds, destroy granulations, freshen edges of ulcers, fissures, provide styptic action, treatment vesicular bullous or aphthous lesions-
Adult: Apply oint to lesion × 5 day or cotton applicator dipped in solution to affected area 2-3 times wk × 2-3 wk. |
